Ashlie Myers has deep roots in the community and has become dedicated to serving it. After graduating from AHS and becoming the wife of an airman, Ashlie returned to Alamogordo in 2009. Between raising three children while working full time and earning a college degree, she realized that becoming a voice for the community at large is where her heart lies. 

 

Ashlie Myers has always been a mover and a shaker; from a young age, she stood up for anyone and everyone who has been bullied or treated unjustly. When the city commission passed an unsupported and divisive resolution, Ashlie was inspired to bring the community together to fight it. That experience, among others,  has led to a deep desire to become a voice for all members of our community.
